Primary election

Races too important to miss; please vote

For those of us in the new 1st Congressional District, the Tuesday primary is one not to miss. I was reminded of this when I picked up our mail at the post office and came home with a stack of slick brochures, voters guide and our ballots. In that crowded field I have yet to decide who will get my vote -- but I am writing today to urge all in the 39th Legislative District not to overlook the vitally important State Representative Position 2 race. This too is a crowded field, but I know my vote is going to Eleanor Walters. She understands the future lies with our children and supports fully funding education. I have no doubt she will serve the citizens of this district well and endorse her. So find the Snohomish County Voters' Pamphlet, your ballot and a pen -- and vote! This primary is too important to miss.
