RENTON — Terrell Owens was back in Los Angeles packing up some belongings while the Seattle Seahawks were on the practice field Tuesday morning. Even though he was away from his new team, Owens was still the talk of training camp.

Owens agreed to a one-year deal with the Seahawks on Monday. He returned to Los Angeles late Monday night, was expected back at the team's facility later Tuesday for meetings and to be on the practice field wearing No. 10 on Wednesday morning.

Coach Pete Carroll says he was blown away by Owens' workout Monday during the players' day off. Carroll says he also spoke with Oakland quarterback Carson Palmer, who played with Owens the last time he was in the NFL in 2010 with Cincinnati, before making the decision to give him an offer.
