Parents are invited to get their children's car seats checked for free on Friday.
Certified car-seat technicians will make sure the seats are installed safely, and provide additional resources.
The event is organized by regional public health agencies and the Bothell Fire Department.
The checks are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the Fred Meyer parking lot, 21045 Bothell-Everett Highway.
Parents should bring their children for correct fittings.

Camano Island: Support the Safe Harbor Free Clinic
Safe Harbor Free Clinic plans to host an "Art in the Garden" fundraiser with wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres, chocolates, coffee and live music by the Lindsay Street Celtic Band, along with the sale of work by numerous local artists.
The event is set for 6 p.m. Saturday in the garden at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church, 1318 Highway 532, Camano Island.
The cost is $25, $45 for a couple.
Proceeds go to health-care programs provided by the free clinic to a growing number of people without adequate health insurance.
Artists involved include Indy Behrendt, Jackie Roberts, Janet Hamilton, Kathy Hastings, Liz Hamlin, Marguerite Goff, Susan Cohen Thompson, Renate Trapkowski, Lynne Nielsen and Patricia Ressaguie.
Now in its third year, Safe Harbor Free Clinic has provided medical care to more than 3,000 under-insured and uninsured people from Snohomish, Island and Skagit counties.
Safe Harbor is open Friday evenings in the Skagit Regional Clinic in downtown Stanwood.

Classic car show set for Saturday
The 2012 Collectors Car Show is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road.
The free event includes entertainment and activities for children, an outdoor market and a self-guided poker run tour of Camano Island.

Everett: Donations sought for victims
Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County is asking for donations of new or lightly used household goods for domestic-violence victims and their children. Donations can be dropped off at the New and Again Thrift Shoppe, 3116 Rucker Ave., Everett.
