Motorcyclist dies after collision near Marysville

MARYSVILLE -- A man died Friday night after his motorcycle collided with a pickup near Marysville.
The accident happened about 6:20 p.m. near the 11700 block of 67th Avenue NE, just east of Marysville Pilchuck High School, said Scott Goodale, a battalion chief with the Marysville Fire District.
The victim died at the scene, Goodale said. He appeared to be in his 30s.
The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office was investigating the crash. Additional details weren't immediately available.
