Granite Falls man dies after wreck on I-5 near Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD -- A Granite Falls man died after a one-car accident on I-5 late Wednesday night near Lynnwood, the Washington State Patrol reported.

The man, 50, was driving southbound in the left lane on I-5 near 164th Street SE when his car crossed all the lanes of traffic, troopers said. It rolled over and came to a stop on the west shoulder.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

The man's name was not released pending notification of next of kin.

The accident was reported around 11:30 p.m.
