SEATTLE -- A 51-year-old Lake Stevens man and a 49-year-old Seattle woman have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the killing of a decorated Navy veteran inside his North Seattle apartment in December.

Seattle Police told The Seattle Times that Charles Jungbluth was arrested on late last week for investigation of homicide after DNA evidence linked him the killing.

He was charged Tuesday and is being held on $2 million bail. Co-defendant, Gilda Ramirez, was also charged Tuesday with first-degree murder and is being held in lieu of $2 million bail.

Seventy-year-old Francis "Patrick" Flaming was found dead inside his apartment in the Four Freedoms senior independent-living center on Dec. 8.

Police say a third suspect is still being investigated.
