Archbishop Murphy ranked No. 25 in MaxPreps poll

The Archbishop Murphy football team has been one of the most dominant football programs in the state of Washington over the past half decade.

Because of that success and despite an offseason filled with turmoil, the Wildcats are ranked No. 25 in the MaxPreps 2012 preseason small school football, released on Thursday.

Here's what MaxPreps writes about the Wildcats:

25. Archbishop Murphy (Everett, Wash.), 12-2
Bill Marsh takes over for coach Dave Ward, who led the Wildcats to a 46-6 record during his four seasons as coach.
