4 great shows coming up in Everett

There are some pretty great shows coming up in Everett between Friday and Tuesday. I wanted to take a minute to get the details out about each one. This is a great chance to enjoy some great music without leaving town so let’s all take advantage!

Mary Lambert at Café Zippy

Friday Aug. 24th at 8pm $5 (suggested donation)

Everett native Mary Lambert is coming home to perform this Friday night. Before her record release show at the Croc in Seattle next Wednesday night, Mary will be performing at Café Zippy here in Everett. Most recently Mary was featured on the track “Same Love” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

I Will Keep Your Ghost w/ The Chasers and Not From Brooklyn at The Anchor

Friday Aug. 24th at 9pm $5

Everett band I Will Keep Your Ghost is coming back to the Anchor Pub and is bringing friends. All three of these bands are great. In fact, this lineup is so good that I kind of can’t believe it’s only $5.

I know that I Will Keep Your Ghost has been recording and working on some new material lately and they informed me there will be a special cover at the end of the show. I can’t wait to see what that it!

20 Riverside at the Marina

Saturday Aug. 25th at 6:30pm FREE!

The Everett Waterfront Summer Concert Series is coming to an end next week but before Everett band 20 Riverside takes over the marina for the 2nd summer in a row. When they played last year the place was packed and dance floor was moving.

Anytime 20 Riverside plays a show in Everett it turns into a party because these guys have a lot of friends and they come out big. Below is a video from a show 20 Riverside played in Everett last summer.

Learning Team w/special guest at The Anchor

Tuesday Aug. 28th at 7:30pm $3

Bellingham band Learning Team is stopping in Everett on Tuesday night as part of their summer tour. Yeah that’s right, Tuesday! Not sure I have ever been to a show on a Tuesday night in Everett, so having a chance to get out and see some great tunes on a weeknight will be a treat.

Since finding out they were coming to town I have been listening to their Daypack EP nonstop. I’m hooked on it and expect this will be the best $3 I’ve spent in a long time. You can hear their EP below.

Also, there will be a special guest performance from an Everett band to open this show. You won’t want to miss it.
