Overheard on the police beat

“It would be a stop and I.D., to see if he wants his drug paraphernalia back.”

Cop 1: “She said to go to hell.”
Cop 2: “Copy that.”

Cop asking a supervisor about a suspicious trailer:
“As long as it's a family on vacation or a group of people on a private road, they're fine.”

“If it's him, I'm just gonna hook him up and dump him off with that Lynnwood guy.”

“Well, is the dog still attacking things?”

“She is pretending not to wake up, but breathing is verified. There was an argument between mother and daughter.”

“The kid's more important than my lunch.”

“She's just saying honey, honey, and clicking her tongue.”

“The subject with a broken leg is now romancing in the parking lot.”

“I'm on scene with the stroller. It appears to be a transient set-up.”
