Granite Falls residents warned of sex offender

GRANITE FALLS -- Police are warning people in the Granite Falls area of a convicted sex offender who will be living in the 13700 block of Forest Way, off the Mountain Loop Highway.

Kenneth Dee Stewart, 26, is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend.

He pleaded guilty in Snohomish County in 2002 to first-degree child molestation and attempted first-degree rape of a child. He also was convicted of third-degree rape of a child and second-degree assault with sexual motivation in 2006.

Stewart is described as white, about 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.
