ABERDEEN — An Aberdeen couple has won a $3.6 million Washington lottery jackpot.
KXRO radio reported that Roger and Darla Sauer bought the winning ticket over the weekend. Darla Sauer said they have bought a ticket with the same numbers every week since the state started the game in 1984. The couple has been married since 1974. He is a high school English teacher and she is an active volunteer.
The couple said they have no immediately plans about how to spend the money although they do have some charities they plan to support in a more generous way.
