MARYSVILLE -- A 64-year-old Seattle man was seriously injured Sunday after a two-car crash west of Marysville.

The wreck happened about 11 a.m. near the intersection of 140th Street NE and Meridian Avenue, Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

Investigators believe the man may have rear-ended a truck that was towing a boat on a trailer.

The impact sent his vehicle off the road, where it rolled over, she said.

The man was taken via helicopter to a Seattle hospital. No other injuries were reported.
