Army Pvt. Marcus D. Jordan has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Staci and Kenneth Jordan of Oak Harbor and is a 2011 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
Navy Seaman Recruit Cliff R. Brooke, son of Candy and Robert Brooke of Lake Stevens, has completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Brooke is a 1999 graduate of Lake Stevens High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in 2005 from Central Washington University.
