Luton getting plenty of attention

As a high school junior, Marysville Pilchuck's Jake Luton stands 6-foot-4 and has a big arm, two things college teams salivate over.

Because of that many have already been in contact with Tomahawk gunslinger. Luton told me earlier this week that he's already received interest from Cal, Nebraska, Washington State, Stanford and that should only increase as this season goes along.

Luton said after Sept. 1 he'll have a chance to actually talk to college coaches, something he's looking forward to.

Luton is far from making any decisions but he did say one thing about his future school choice. "I'm definitely a mama's boy," Luton said. "I'd like to stay close to home.”
