Stomp brings rhythm to Everett’s Comcast in October

Sign up for Weekend to-do list
Stomp started in England in 1991 when two friends realized they could make infectious, rhythmic music in odd ways, using brooms, hubcaps, garbage cans -- basically anything but a conventional instrument.

Now, the off-Broadway smash will come to Everett, as Comcast Arena hosts Stomp at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16.

The touring show will find the eight-member troupe performing two new routines, using things like tractor tire inner tubes and paint cans.

Other sections of the famed performance have been updated and restructured.

Tickets are now on sale for $29.50 to $49.50 at www.comcastarenaeverett.com or 866-332.8499.
