Music, fair, corgis, planes and more weekend fun

Go sailing: A two-day small-sailboat festival is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Cama Beach State Park, 1880 S.W. Camano Drive. The festival celebrates the art of small boat sailing and features activities for all ages, including games, music, racing, sailing, sailing lessons, boat building workshops, crabbing and fishing. Kayak, rowboat and sailboat rentals are available at the event by The Center for Wooden Boats. Admission is free. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to the event. Parking is limited and carpooling is recommended. For parking information, call 360- 387-1550.

Bumbershoot: Enjoy Seattle’s music and arts festival, which runs from Saturday to Monday. You’ll find as much music as you can possibly listen to along with a lot more fun. Read our story here or check out our music blogger’s must-see bands here.

Look up: You’ll be able to see a Bearcat, a Skyraider and a Mustang. You can take a flight or be inspired by pilots who have battled diversity and disabilities to take to the sky. Enjoy art at Woodpalooza: The Whidbey Island Woodworkers Guild presents 20 Whidbey Island woodworkers featuring furniture, cabinetry, architectural woodwork, turners, clock makers, sawyers, carvers, restorers, musical instrument makers, boat builders and refinishers. The opening reception is 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday. The exhibition is noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 1 through 3 at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts Zech Hall, 565 Camano Ave., Langley. More art: The Roaming Artists Art Show features 27 artists who work “plein air” or outside at various locations on Camano Island and around Stanwood. The event is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 E. Camano Drive, Camano Island. This once-a-year show has become a favorite place to view the work of talented new and more experienced artists. For more information, call 360-6387-4868.

Ogle cars: The Classic Car Show at Country Village Shops is from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Country Village is at 23732 Bothell-Everett Highway, Bothell. The show is free to attend; $15 car entry fee and pre-registration is encouraged. The first 100 cars entering the show will receive a commemorative dash plaque. Tour a trolley: Tours of Interurban Car 55 are planned from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Park in Lynnwood. Interurban Car 55 is a renovated 1909 interurban electric rail car on display at the park at 19921 Poplar Way. Car 55 is one of the six original trolleys that provided commuter service from Alderwood Manor to Seattle and Everett from 1910 to 1939. No reservations are necessary and tours are free.

Calling all corgis: A Corgi Funday is planned from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at McCollum Park, 600 128th St. SE, Everett. All corgis are welcome. There will be games, demonstrations, agility equipment as well as a raffle, ribbons and prizes. The cost is $5. Lunch is provided, but donations are accepted.
