EDMONDS — A trio of Edmonds-Woodway girls soccer players recorded two goals apiece and the Warriors beat Mariner 8-0 in the season opener for both teams.
Lindsey Aranda, Madison Schultz and Rylee Peterson all scored twice and goalkeeper Kirea Toell recorded the shutout and scored a goal herself in the Wesco South 4A victory. Aranda, Schultz and Peterson all had assists in the game.
Savannah VanCitters had three assists in the game.
