SEATTLE -- The Seattle City Council voted Tuesday to redevelop Yesler Terrace, the city's first public housing project, which opened in 1941.
Plans call for the city to sell some of the 30 acres near Harborview Medical Center to developers. The city will use money from the sale to rebuild nearly 600 low-income apartments.
