McCurrying favor

Would you like fries with your fries? McDonald's says it plans to open its first vegetarian-only restaurants in India. Among the vegetarian menu items is a burger made with a spicy breaded potato patty and a "special vegetable sauce," called the McAloo Tikka.

So McDonald's isn't murdering animals for your vegetarian meal, but they are McMurdering the McHindi McLanguage.


Have you thought about applying for an NEA grant? A New York strip club owner says the lap and pole dances his employees perform are a choreographed art form just like ballet and, as such, should be exempt from state taxes. "Some girls are up there practicing for hours when nobody's in here," said one, um, artist.

Yeah. Nobody's watching when we sing in the shower, but we don't get a tax break for that.
