Touch a Truck: Climb on into some big rigs as the city of Marysville invites your family to this annual event that puts your kids in the driver's seat of public works big rigs, police and fire vehicles and other heavy-duty equipment that children see on city streets every day; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 8 at Totem Middle School's Asbery Field, 1605 Seventh St. NE. Admission is free.

Pioneer Days At The Stillaguamish Pioneer Museum: The museum will offer hands-on activities including: milking a cow, washing clothes, working a 19th-century sewing machine, viewing old-fashioned toys and games, churning butter and grinding wheat. Guided Future of Flight Aviation Center Gallery Tours: 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursdays through Sept. 20 at The Future of Flight, 8415 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo. These are 90-minute detailed, guided tours of the center's aviation gallery and its exhibits. Admission for the guided tour is included in the regular ticket price of $20 and $14. Harvest Party and Music Fest: Good Cheer is celebrating 50 years of serving South Whidbey through its food bank and thrift store with a fourth annual Harvest Party & Music Fest in the Good Cheer Garden 2 to 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at 2812 Grimm Road, Langley. The festival includes local bands, a workshop featuring Ed Hume, along with other gardening workshops and inexpensive food highlighting the harvest from the organic garden, kid's activities and much more, including a raffle and silent auction; there's also a dessert competition.
