A new name and a fresh start for Chaos Chaos

“We were really excited to start completely new with everything and we felt like we as people had changed” said Chloe of Chaos Chaos on why her and Asy are moving on from Smoosh.

Chaos Chaos is the new band name Asy and Chloe will take with them as they move forward and it already seems like things are going well. Changing your name after several years isn't an easy thing to do, but with Chaos Chaos launching a Kickstarter campaign that reached its $2,500 goal in the first 24 hours and ended at over $6,000, I don't think there is much to worry about.

I have been following along with the video updates about the project on the Chaos Chaos Kickstarter and Facebook pages and I have really liked what I have been hearing. Recently they released a new song called "Across the Map" that will be on their upcoming EP. You can see the video for that here.

Here is my entire interview with Chloe about the new band. We talk a lot about the new band and the new EP as well as having to share their Harpejji with Stevie Wonder. After this interview I can't wait to hear the finished product. Oct. 16 is the date. For more info check out chaoschaosmusic.com and listen to the interview with Chloe below.
