SNOHOMISH -- Officials have identified a man killed in a head-on collision on U.S. 2 near Snohomish on Thursday.
Sean P. Vessey, 24, of Everett, was westbound in a stolen black Honda when he crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck, according to the Washington State Patrol.
It happened about 6 a.m. Thursday, just west of 88th Street SE.
Vessey was flown by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he later died.
A Snohomish man, 45, and his son, 16, who were in the pickup truck also were injured. The man Monday remained at Harborview in satisfactoy condition; the teenager was been released from the hospital, troopers said.
