WHAT: Rudbeckia fulgida Goldsturm, also known as Goldsturm coneflower, is a native North American perennial. The golden daisies with dark brown centers stand upright and make wonderful cut flowers. They bloom from midsummer through fall, and the butterflies are attracted to them. This rudbeckia was the Perennial Plant of the Year in 1999.
SUN OR SHADE: R. Goldsturm prefers full sun to part shade.
SIZE: These plants will reach 24 to 30 inches high and up to a width of 18 to 24 inches.
