Find a cat at adoption event on Sept. 30

If you've been thinking about getting a cat, an adoption event might help you make up your mind.

Cats from the Everett Animal Shelter, NOAH, PAWS, Purrfect Pals and Homeward Pets will be available, and there will be special rates on adoption fees.

The event also includes feline tarot card readings, face-painting and crafts for kids, and more. It's from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Everett shelter, 333 Smith Island Road.

For more information, call Dee Cordell at the shelter: 425-257-6011.
