Paine Field

The privilege of more jet noise

SHARE: facebook Twitter icon Linkedin icon Google+ icon Email icon |  PRINTER-FRIENDLY
Well, the environmental report says that there will be no significant effect from commercial service at Paine Field. When we bought our home in 1993 there was no jet noise -- none. Now, my family and I experience the privilege of a huge, low-flying aircraft lumbering directly over our home (and I mean directly over our home) on a regular basis. Commercial service to Paine Field will expose us to that privilege even more often.
Hurray! Fortunately, I can draw comfort from the fact that the pilots cannot see my hand gesture of "respect" when they fly over. I would not want to jeopardize our privilege. Yes, privileged, we are, truly privileged.
Anybody want to buy a house?
William Mezger
