Prep girls soccer: South Whidbey 3, Sultan 2 (2 OT)

LANGLEY -- A goal by Maia Sparkman late in overtime prevented a shootout and earned South Whidbey the Cascade Conference win. The Falcons went up 2-0 in the first half, but couldn't score again in regulation. Sultan answered in the second half with a goal from Siera Strauss and the equalizer from Sarah Swift. Two minutes in to the second overtime Kendra Warwick played the ball through and Olivia Bolding put pressure on the goalkeeper. The ball bounced out and Sparkman was there to run on and drive it into the net.
