A suspected bank robber who was shot by police in Stanwood on Tuesday remained in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
As of Wednesday morning, the man was in the intensive care unit at the hospital, a spokeswoman said.
His name, age and other details have not been released.
Significant investigative updates are expected to take some time, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell, a spokesman for the Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team, which investigates officer-involved shootings.
That’s in part due to the large area where the incident unfolded and the amount of evidence that needs to be processed and catalogued, Snell said this morning.
We’ll post updates as we learn more.
