Suspected Everett bank robber held

EVERETT -- A man was in police custody Wednesday afternoon on suspicion that he robbed a bank in Everett.
The robbery occurred about 4:10 p.m. in the 3700 block of Broadway, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said. Police converged on the area and detained the man, Snell said.
Details were still preliminary Wednesday evening, but there were no immediate signs the man was connected to serial bank robberies reported in the region in recent months.
