SEATAC -- Two Boeing 787 Dreamliners took off Tuesday afternoon from Seattle-Tacoma airport, including the one grounded Monday by a maintenance issue.

After a welcoming ceremony at the airport Monday, the plane was grounded by a faulty valve in the cooling system for the electronics bay.

A second Dreamliner arrived at Sea-Tac from Tokyo on Tuesday morning, 77 minutes ahead of schedule.

That flight also took off for its return to Japan on Tuesday afternoon.
