LANGLEY -- Takara Mitsui had the shutout for King's in a Cascade Conference win. Anna Parker had the Knights first goal, in the 10th minute off of a Beth Stella assist. Stell scored next in the closing minutes of the first half to put the Knights up 2-1. Maddie Nettles also had a goal and an assist for King's.
At South Whidbey H.S.
Goals--Anna Parker (K), Beth Stella (K), Jubilee Zevenbergen (K), Maddie Nettles (K). Assists--Stella, Nettles, Devon Fleming (K), Anisa Uberuaga (K). Goalkeepers--King's: Takara Mitsui. South Whidbey: Ellie Greene. Records--King's 7-1-0 league, 9-1-0 overall. South Whidbey 3-5-0, 3-6-1.
