The Tigers running back carried the ball 24 times for 167 yards and four touchdowns and converted two fourth-down plays as Granite Falls beat Cedarcrest 41-35 on Friday.

Eloise-Neale won the girls seeded flight at the prestigious Stanford Invite in Palo Alto, Calif. on Saturday afternoon with a time of 16 minutes, 52 seconds, 12 seconds faster than the second place finisher.

Roe placed 10th in the boys seeded race at the Stanford Invite held at the Stanford University Golf Course. Roe finished with a time of 15 minutes, 34 seconds.

Ober had 12 kills and 12 digs to help Glacier Peak win its Wesco 3A South conference opener over Shorecrest 3-1 last Tuesday. She added 14 kills, 10 digs and two blocks to help the Grizzlies stay undefeated in league play with a 3-0 win over Shorewood on Thursday.

Green scored the game winning goal to lead the Panthers to a 2-1 victory in Thursday’s contest over previously unbeaten Edmonds-Woodway. Green also assisted on Taylor Morrell’s goal.

Ekern, the Mavericks’ No. 1 singles player, didn’t drop a set in two matches last week as Meadowdale swept the Marysville Pilchuck and Getchell teams.

Shirey swam two 3A state qualifying times in the Mavericks meet against Oak Harbor on Tuesday. She finished the 100 breaststroke in 1 minute, 11.14 seconds and was a member of the Meadowdale 200 medley relay team that finished the race in 1:58.37.
