The Olympic Ballet Theatre will begin its 32nd performance season this fall.
Here are some details.
A Classical Evening: A preview of the company will be presented at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. A mixed performance with excerpts from classical ballets including “Swan Lake,” “The Sleeping Beauty” and “Giselle.” Admission is free; arrive early as seating is not reserved.
Beaux Arts Dinner and Auction: The gala fundraiser will take place starting at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Nile County Club, 6601 244th St. SW, Mountlake Terrace. The event includes a preview of the company’s performance season, live and silent auctions, food and wine. Admission is $75 or $500 for a table of eight. “The Nutcracker”: The traditional Christmas ballet will be staged weekends from Dec. 7 through 23 at three venues: Byrnes Performing Arts Center, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd., Arlington; Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave., Everett; and Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. “Giselle”: The famed 19th century romantic ballet will be presented April 14 at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Avenue and April 21 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N.
