Seattle Home Show 2 gets under way Friday and continues through Sunday at CenturyLink Field Event Center in Seattle. The theme, “Get Your Dream On,” of the annual fall event, promises previews of the trends in home design and products.

With nearly 400 displays and exhibitors as well as indoor and outdoor “room” settings, the show features ideas for smaller living spaces, money and energy-saving appliances and products, and ideas for multigenerational living.

Presentations include Dr. Lori, an appraiser on Discovery Channel’s “Auction Kings”; and a Chef Cooking Series with regional chefs giving demonstrations on the Viking Cooking Stage.

The Outdoor Living and Wine Garden, besides being a display of the latest trends for outdoor spaces, will offer visitors a respite and a sip in a special wine-tasting area.

Radio Disney will keep the kids amused with live entertainment, mini-golf and craft activities, and a chance to win Justin Beiber concert tickets.

Centurylink Field Event Center is at 1000 Occidental Ave. S., Seattle. Show hours are: Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for ages 60 and over, $3 for ages 7 to 15, and free under 7.
