ARLINGTON -- No injuries were reported in a large house fire Thursday morning north of Arlington.

The fire was reported just after 8:30 a.m. in the 23500 block of 27th Avenue NE, North County Fire Chief Dale Fulfs said.

Firefighters made sure everyone was out, Fulfs said.

The garage was heavily damaged, but the family was able to return to the house, he said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.

Crews also responded from Arlington and Silvana.
