Front Porch: EnduroCross returns to Comcast Arena

The "toughest racing on two wheels" is expected to return to Everett later this month.
EnduroCross off-road motorcycle riders will take their extreme racing to Comcast Arena for a one-night show Oct. 20.
The sport gives off-road motorcycle racers the challenge of going over obstacles including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud and even special features such as giant tires and a water hole.
Tickets are priced at $40, $25, $20 and $16 and children are $10.

Post Office hiring: The U.S. Postal Service is hiring temporary employees to work during the upcoming holiday mailing season at mail processing facilities including in Everett.
The non-career mailhandler positions pay $11 an hour and there are no benefits. The number of hours worked will depend on mail volume.
All applicants must be at least age 18 at the time of hire (or 16 with a high school diploma) and be a U.S. citizen or have permanent alien status.
