Associated Press
OLYMPIA -- U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell has $2 million to spend in the final weeks of her re-election campaign.
Cantwell's campaign released her third quarter fundraising numbers Thursday, saying she raised more than $1 million in the three-month period. Republican challenger Michael Baumgartner does not have his third quarter numbers available yet.
Cantwell has consistently held a fundraising lead throughout the race. Through the end of June, Baumgartner reported raising a total of about $700,000 during the election cycle, and he had $180,000 cash on hand.
