Prep girls soccer: Cedarcrest 8, South Whidbey 0

DUVALL -- Cedarcrest opened a quick 3-0 lead, with two goals form Rebekah Gagnon and one from Brielle Rhode in the first six minutes of play. That score stood till the second half, when the Red Wolves exploded with five more goals to get the Cascade Conference win. Gagnon, Rhode and Karlie White all had two goals for Cedarcrest and White had a further four assists.
At Cedarcrest H.S.
Goals--Rebekah Gagnon (C) 2, Brielle Rhode (C) 2, Karli White (C) 2, Sydney Kuhen (C), South Whidbey own goal. Assists--White 4, Rhode, Gagnon. Goalkeepers--South Whidbey: Ellie Greene. Cedarcrest: Bailey Parish. Records--South Whidbey 3-6-0 league, 3-7-1 overall. Cedarcrest 6-3-0, 6-5-0.
