To do this weekend: Sausage Fest and fall fun

All the brats you can eat: The ever-popular Everett Sausage Festival runs Friday through Sunday at the Perpetual Help Church Grounds, 2619 Cedar Ave. It’s a family-oriented festival with a traditional Bavarian dinner and food booths, children’s games, bingo, a carnival and music. See our story for details.

Get ready to rumble: For the first time in eight years, World Wrestling Entertainment is bringing its pile-driving back to Everett. The WWE will host the Raw World Tour at Comcast Arena on Friday night at 7:30. Tickets are available, ranging from $17 to $97. More at www.comcastarenaeverett.com.

Watch the Tips: After the wrestlers clear out, it’s time for some real hard-hitting action. The Everett Silvertips play the Tri-City Americans at 5 p.m. Sunday. See the Tips’ website for the full schedule.

Go on a hay ride: It’s harvest party time Saturday in Marysville. There will be hay rides, a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, prizes, a bouncy house and train rides from noon to 4 p.m. at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Ave. Call 360-659-3711 for more information.

Pick a pumpkin: Pumpkin patches and harvest festivals are in full swing all around the area. Click here for our list.

Get in the spirit: Downtown Snohomish is the setting for a walk combining the spirits, both wine and ghostly varieties. A Distillery Walk and After Party are planned Saturday night. Dress up in Prohibition duds (optional) and head to Snohomish for the tastings from 4 to 7 p.m. Check in at The Second Street Cabin, 1010 Second St., to buy your tasting tickets and pick up a map. It’s $8 per person for five tastings. Extra tickets are $1 each. Read more about it here.

Have a laugh: Veteran actors deliver high-quality zingers in “The Sunshine Boys” at the Historic Everett Theatre. Read more in our Arts Seen blog, which gave it a great review. Shows run through this weekend.

Travel through time: Learn all about the rise and fall of the Seattle-Everett Interurban Railway, which in many ways was decades ahead of its time. It’s the subject of the first in an Everett Public Library series of workshops and performances about local history. This one is Sunday at 2 p.m. Read more about it here.

Celebrate the past: The Granite Falls Railroad Days brings people together to celebrate the town’s past on Saturday with events including a fun run, kids’ activities and a parade. Read more about it here.
