Blood drive at EvCC
Everett Community College Student Activities Health/Wellness Program and the Puget Sound Blood Center are hosting a blood drive at EvCC on Oct. 9 and 10. The blood drive is to be held from 8:30 a.m to 2:30 p.m. in Whitehorse Hall, Room 105.
To make an appointment to donate, sign up at Student Activities in Parks Hall, Room 209, or call Student Activities at 425-388-9561. Walk-in donors are welcome.
The college is at 2000 Tower St.
University Center open house: Learn about bachelor’s and master’s degree programs offered in Everett at the University Center of North Puget Sound community open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 24.
The event is at the University Center, located in Gray Wolf Hall on Everett Community College’s campus, 2000 Tower St., Everett.
The University Center partners with eight universities that offer more than 25 bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Everett. Program areas include business, science, engineering, health, education, social science, and faith-based and aeronautical degrees.
Degrees are offered through Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, Western Washington University, The Evergreen State College, University of Washington-Bothell, Washington State University, Saint Martin’s University, Hope International University and Embry Riddle.
Admissions officials from each school will be at the open house to talk about their programs and how to get started. Visitors also can learn how to get started at Everett Community College.
The degree programs at the University Center build off of an associate degree; classes only cover junior and senior level coursework.
