Teen driving-safety program Saturday in Stanwood
Called "Driving It Home," the driving-safety program aimed at teens is free and open to anyone interested in attending.
The program includes testimonials from parents whose teens were killed in car accidents, examinations of crash investigations, a speaker from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office and a car-pedestrian accident staged with a mannequin.
Outside on display will be cars in which young drivers died.
A second "Driving It Home" program is planned for 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at Snohomish High School, 1316 5th St, Snohomish.
