Inmate kills self in King County Jail in Seattle

SEATTLE -- Authorities say an inmate in the King County Jail in Seattle suffocated himself Wednesday with a plastic bag.

The jail says he was found by corrections officers on a routine check and could not be revived.

He was identified by the King County medical examiner's office as Djarma M. Tittet, 29. He had been jailed on July 24 for investigation of assault.
