For the first time in "The Price is Right" history, the venerable game show has hired a male model to pose alongside patio furniture, six-piece bedroom sets, vacations in sunny Cabo San Lucas and other fabulous prizes.

"Price is Right" host emeritus and animal rights activist Bob Barker is said to be OK with the male model -- as long as that fur trim on his Speedo isn't real.



Triple feature: Saturday, the Cabela's store at Quil Ceda Village is hosting a series of workshops for women on archery, fishing, campfire cooking and other outdoors skills.

One of the workshops, called "Handguns and Heels," which sounds like the title of one of the movies that used to play at the old Thunderbird Drive-In in Marysville.



Lighten up: Olive Garden looks to freshen up its image with a new ad campaign and a menu that emphasizes entrees with less than 550 calories.

The Buzz presumes that means "Endless Pasta Mondays" will be replaced by "Countless Celery Sticks Thursdays."
