Classes just for women at Cabela's

Cabela's is hosting a special event for women from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at its Tulalip store, 9810 Quil Ceda Blvd.

Ladies Day Out is a series of workshops that teach women handgun, archery, fishing and outdoor cooking techniques. For details, call 360-474-4880 or visit www.cabelas.com/tulalip. Event schedule:

10 a.m.: Handguns and Heels, introductory handgun course, conference center.

11 a.m.: Archery for women, archery department.

Noon: Women of Cabela's fashion show, main aisle.

1:30 p.m.: Ladies' spin casting and fishing techniques, conference center.

2:30 p.m.: Nonlethal self-defense, conference center.

3:30 p.m.: Ladies' camping and outdoor cooking, outside in front of store.
