EDMONDS -- Police are looking for a man who reportedly showed up naked in the girls' locker room at Edmonds-Woodway High School on Monday.

A female student saw the man about 6:30 p.m., Edmonds police Sgt. Mike Blackburn said. The man then grabbed his belongings and ran away.

The student notified an adult, who called police.

School administrators were able to supply investigators with surveillance video that may have captured the man in the gym nearby.

They and police quickly notified the student-athletes who were at the school at the time and their families about the incident, Blackburn said. They then notified the rest of the students and their families via email.

A more public notification was sent out Friday.

Detectives have some leads, but anyone with information should call 425-771-0212.
