Voetberg Family Band: Everett’s Westminster Presbyterian Church will host a public concert by the Voetberg Family Band at 7 p.m. Saturday. Blessing of Pets: Edmonds Lutheran Church will hold a Blessing of Pets service in the church at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The church recognizes the work of St. Francis of Assisi the first Sunday of October. Blessing of the Animals: Everett’s Trinity Lutheran Church invites neighbors to join in a Blessing of the Animals at 2 p.m. Sunday in Clark Park across from the church, which is at 2324 Lombard Ave. Event will include a blessing from Pastor Jocelyn Carson and treats for pets. Animal-themed hymns will be sung. Donated pet food will be collected for the N.O.A.H. Animal Adoption and Spay/Neuter Center in Stanwood.

Christian concert: Alderwood Community Church will host a free concert by Christian musician David Harsh at 7 p.m. Sunday. The event marks the release of Harsh’s CD, “This Side of Heaven.” Offering will be taken. Church is at 3403 Alderwood Mall Blvd., Lynnwood. Information: www.davidharsh.com.

Christian Women’s Luncheon: Mill Creek Christian Women’s Connection will hold a luncheon 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hilton Garden Inn, 847 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo. Cost is $22. Camano concert: The Camano Lutheran Church will host a free musical program at 7 p.m. Friday to thank the community for support in purchasing a new organ. Advance Care Planning: St. Alban’s Episcopal church in Edmonds will host “Advance Care Planning” Oct. 14. Program will cover planning for a health crisis and end-of-life care. Single Mom Car Care Clinic: Clearview Foursquare Church will have mechanics on site offering free car advice and small repairs to single mothers from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Oct. 13. Interfaith shelter fundraiser: The Interfaith Association of Northwest Washington will host its annual “Always a Time to Bloom” dinner event to support the Family Shelter at 6 p.m. Oct. 23 at Lynnwood’s Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. Meals in Everett: Gold Creek Community Church hosts a free hot meal and provides sack lunches 5-6 p.m. the first, third and fifth Sunday of every month in the parking lot of Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Clothes available some days.

Salt of the Earth Soup Kitchen: noon Tuesdays at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed to help cook, set up, serve and clean up.
