Deputies and medical responders called to an abandoned gravel pit Friday night found the Skagit County teen at the base of a cliff leading from the gravel pit to Lake Shannon.
The Sheriff's office on Saturday said there had been a large gathering at the gravel pit and alcohol may have been involved.
Investigators believe the death was accidental.
