She would rule over the homecoming game at Memorial Stadium on Oct. 12, along with princesses Karen Mullen, Kathy Tretwold, Cris Smith and Ann Sievers. He escort was student body president Cary Rice.

Kim Olseson's 6-2, 6-2 victory over Heide Sylvester in the first singles match and Brooke Burkett's 6-0, 6-1 victory at second singles sparked Everett to the Wesco AAA victory. The Seagulls, 4-3 in the conference and 5-3 overall, won each of the seven matches in straight sets.
