Sign up for Weekend to-do list
Molbak's nursery sponsors a free play every year to help a local nonprofit organization.

This year's selection is "The Princess and the Pea," which is based on the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale about a princess who must prove she is royalty to be able to marry a prince.

This production stars Daniel Goodman, Kenna Kettrick, Todd Stratton and Kate Witt, and is produced and directed by B.J. Douglas.

The 45-minute play will be presented the next three weekends, Saturday and Sunday, and Oct. 20 and 21, and 27 and 28.

There are three performances each day, at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., in the nursery's events area. ASL interpreters will sign the 4 p.m. production Oct. 28.

Admission is free but you are asked to bring canned goods or other nonperishable foods to benefit Northshore YMCA's Totes-to-Go program and the Northshore Community Kitchen.

Molbak's is at 13625 NE 175th St., Woodinville. For more information go to www.molbaks.com/events., or call 425-483-5000.
