'Unresponsive' 1-year-old taken to hospital

TULALIP -- A 1-year-old girl was taken to the hospital Monday after emergency crews were summoned by reports of an "unresponsive" infant in a vehicle.

The incident was reported about 4:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of Marine Drive NE.

Marysville firefighters rushed the girl to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, battalion chief Scott Goodale said.

There was no immediate word regarding the child's condition or the nature of the medical problem.

Tulalip police were investigating. No department spokesman could be reached Monday night.
