Lynnwood looking to fill council vacancy

LYNNWOOD -- The City Council is accepting applications for the council seat previously held by Kimberly Cole.
People who live in Lynnwood city limits must apply by 5 p.m. Oct. 22. Mailed applications won't be accepted after that date, regardless of postmark.
The finalists are expected to be interviewed by council members Nov. 8.
The position is next scheduled for an election in 2013. It pays roughly $18,000 a year.
Applications are available at www.ci.lynnwood.wa.us or at City Hall, 19100 44th Ave W.
